Troubleshoot with the steps below:
- Check to see if you have fuel in your tank.
If you are out of fuel, contact us for emergency delivery. We offer our dedicated fuel customers 24 hour service. An on-call Technician will deliver fuel & prime your system to keep you warm until the driver can fill your tank the next business day.
- If you have fuel
Is the thermostat set above room temperature? Turn it up & see if boiler turns on. Make sure the red emergency electrical shutoff switch is in the “ON” position. (This is usually located on the main floor near the basement steps)
- Press the red reset button ONCE and listen to see if burner ignites. If/When you hear it start, wait to see if it continues to run or shuts off after a few minutes. Important: Never press reset more than once or you could flood/harm the unit.
- Check for any blown fuses or tripped circuit breakers in the electrical supply for the furnace or boiler. Note that a tripped breaker switch moves only slightly from “ON” position.
